About the SECC

The club was organized in early 1997 and has grown to more than 100 members. The South East Contest Club is devoted to amateur radio contesting; whether it be CW, SSB, RTTY, HF or VHF. For the purpose of ARRL affliation, the club’s center is located near Augusta, Ga. See the map for the area covered.

We are always looking for new members who share our passion for contesting. If you are a contester, would like to get involved in contesting, or would like to join our ranks; we invite you to subscribe to the club’s e-mail reflector.

To do so, simply send an e-mail message to secc-request@contesting.com. In the body of the message type: ’subscribe secc ‘.

Once you are subscribed to the reflector, you will be able to exchange messages with the rest of the group by sending e-mails addressed to: secc@contesting.com.
